Great grilled grouper fish recipes perfect for Florida gulf grouper, red, black or really any variety of grouper fish. Spicy Lemon Parmesan Blackened
Grilled Grouper Recipe

Don't be put off by the amount of ingredients. Chances are you have all of these spices on hand.

Ingredients (Serves 4)
Time: Under 30 Minutes

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice


  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  • 1/4 cup butter, softened


  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise


  • 1 teaspoon paprika


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder


  • 1 teaspoon onion powder


  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano


  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme


  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (optional)


  • 2 pounds grouper fillets, 1-inch thick


  • How to Grill Grouper

    Preheat grill for high-heat (500 degrees F).

    In a blender combine all the ingredients except the grouper fish.

    Brush spicy lemon parmesan blend onto both sides of the fish.

    Lightly oil grate. Grill grouper 5 minutes per side or until it flakes easily with a fork. Flip only once.

    Grilling Tip:
    Flipping fish only once during grilling prevents it from falling apart on your grill.
