Tips for Grilling Shrimp Kabobs

Always presoak your skewers to prevent them from burning (too much) while on the grill.

There are many advantages to using two skewers instead of one when grilling shrimp kabob:

Alternate your kabob ingredients on one skewer as usual but when you skewer the shrimp only pierce the tail. Use the second skewer to pierce the head.

This will cause each shrimp to spread out and enable you to put more kabob ingredients on a set of skewers than you could on just one.

Plus you won't have the hassle of trying to turn your shrimp kabobs on the grill with your fingers because two skewers make it so you can use tongs.

If you're grilling marinated shrimp kabobs always blend the ingredients in a small food processor or blender. If the ingredients are only casually mixed together, they may separate during the marinating process and flavor your kabobs unevenly.
