4 (6 ounce) rainbow trout fillets, skin-on
2 teaspoons soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
4 green onions, chopped
Directions for Grilling Rainbow Trout
Preheat grill for medium-high heat (450 degrees F).
Meanwhile, remove any bones from your trout.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, salt, pepper, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and green onions.
Brush the flesh side of your rainbow trout with the soy sauce mixture.
Lightly oil grill grate. Grill rainbow trout 1 minute flesh-side down at a 45 degree angle. Rotate the opposite direction another 45 degrees and continue
grilling another minute. Flip the rainbow trout to the skin side, brush with more sauce, and continue grilling 2 more minutes.
